Yes, they should but it also depends on how healthy your hair is. Good Hair Stylist won't do it if they think your hair will get really damaged.

What kind of Blonde do you want it?

if you have dark brown hair, you are blessed. dark brown is a beautiful color. don't ruin it by dyeing your hair blonde. the bleach will kill you hair and you will have to start using all kinds of products to make it healthy again. if you really want to dye your hair or do something different, put some auburn lowlights in with your dark brown hair. it will make your color more rich and full.. and you will stand out! there are too many fake blondes in the world.. you don't need to be added to the list!

No problem, as long as yu go to a good salon and a professional who knows how to colour the hair without hurting it!! I've been brown and blonde and kept the softness and lustre in my hair (I NEVER colour it myself)!!

yes...but it has to be done in baby steps...and by this i mean: you strip with bleach and it will be a lighter brown...you have to wait 1-2 days and then strip again with bleach...you may have to repeat the process several times until you get to the desired blond you're looking for...and also...i can't stress this enough: on your off days (no dying) deep condition your hair with rich, thick conditioning treatments...

i have done this and i sure hope i never did...it does ruin the quality of your hair tremendously.

good luck.

It depends...

If you have ever put color on your hair, it will be difficult to pull that color out (even if was a year ago, that color is still on the ends of your hair).

My guess is that a good stylist will tell you to heavily highlight it. My recommendation would be to do a 2 color highlight. Do light blond, then do a dark blond/light brown highlight. That way, you can keep some of your natural and the 2 shades of blond will blend nicely with the darker color.

You really wouldn't want to do an all over blond. Your roots will be terrible when they grow in, and your hair will be more damaged. An all over will likely be a weird tone too.
