Blonde home hair dye advice please.?

Hi,

Is there anybody that knows of a home hair dye that I can use rather than paying out alot of money to get it done in a salon, I'm terrified of that yelowey colour that it can turn which has happened to me before as somewhere in my family have red tone in there hair, my hair natuarally is a mousey brown/blonde, I like the ash/natural colour rather than stawberry blondes, is there anything that I can use, please help me if you know of one, Thankyou!

I've used plain ol' Nice %26amp; Easy for years and have never had a problem with it. Loreal is a good one too. I guess just about any name brand would work for you but I've noticed that hair turns out all yellowish and brassy if you use a color that has "golden" in it's name. You're right to stick with the "ash" tones. Neutral is another good color type to stick with. I've also found that if you have well water, or water that has a lot of iron in it, you'll eventually get the nasty gold/yellow tones in it. Hope you find a color that works for you.

Honestly I know you're trying top save money but making a big change in your hair colour is a big step and it can be much safer to get it done. If you're making your hair a light colour, you will need to bleach it and tat isn't necessarily something you should try on your own, especially if you're new at it. Not all salons are that expensive and a salon job that lasts longer than home done hair ends up being about the same cost anyways.

Go to Sallys, ask for some Quick blue lightner and what ask them to suggest what volume devlper to buy based on the color you want to achieve with the color your hair is. Its a great bleach and also helps with the red tone.

Hi,

The best home dye for blonde hair colour is the "nice and easy with extra boosters" or "Belle Colour" If this will not lighten your hair to blonde then you will have to go to the Salon. Another thing to remember is when choosing a colour, if your hair has gold or orange tones keep away from ash colours which have a blue base. What do yellow and blue make when mixed together yes green. Always do a skin test 24hrs before you use any home product. I hope this helps.
