I also have black hair, and I can only suggest that you go directly to the Stylist!! Do not try this at home!! hahaha... i have had way too many 'Home Hair Disasters' trying to color my hair blonde to mess around again. I think it's better to dish out the $100 for a pro to do it then to take the chance on having green, orange, or no hair!

I would say go to a salon and have them bleach your hair. To get the exact color (especially with you having black hair) they may need to strip all your hair (bleach and take all the color you have off) then they can color it to be all one color.

I am not sure if there are "hair stripping" packages in the store, but I think a salon would be your best bet to guarantee a good and safe way to do it.

A gradual high lift violet based foil blond (highlights) you have done by a professional and gradually increase as you have them re done. It will work a drastic change into your hair gradually and not look so bright or be so drastic. Easier to change back if you hate it too!
