before dyeing red to blonde u need a filler, which would be a brown hair dye, it doesnt have to be a permananet brown just a cheap brown hair dye, after dyeing it brown u can go straight to blonde without having to worry about any orange or pink tinges in your hair!!

It depends...I go to a professionsal and i have blonde and red streaks in my hair...If you dye the red its going to have an orange tint to it the first time but whrn you go back itll look great :) make sure to have a tan.

Well, i think you should keep your natural hair colour, because blonde doesn't really(/usually) work on a red head.. i mean, unless you add little blonde streaks to your hair, yeah, that's not too much. I'll give you an example of a red head to dyed her hair blonde and turned out not to be so nice : lindsay lohan. She looks beautiful with her red hair, but blonde, yeah, it spoiled everything. So my opinion is either keep your hair that way or add a few blonde streaks.
