ehh I think that would be a little too dramatic.

you could die your hair half black, my friend did that and she has dark brown hair and it looks nice.

Personally, I think that style of hair is out I wouldn't do it. Just my opinion. The whole, ends light and rest dark looks tacky. It just looks unnatural. That is just my opinion.

I honestly dont think that would look very good, unless you spend some money and have it done at a salon where they dye the underlying pieces at the bottom blonde to where it gradually fades. Ive seen where its like that except its blonde on top and dark at the ends.

ive seen girls with their hair dyed black and blonde and it reminds me of a skunk. sorry but that is my opinion.

Also, if you have naturally brown hair, black will probably look very harsh on you skin... and not very normal at all.

It sounds very dramatic, if that's the look you are going for. You could try it the other way around; that might look better.
