Well im planning to bleach my brown hair blonde and this is my first time. i want to get some helpfull tips on how to do it so it wont turn my hair green or mess up anything. I have dyed my hair many times and if i bleach it will it get really damaged? I just want to make sure im doing everything right so that if gets messed up i dont want to live with it. so any tips would help.

L'Oreal makes a bleach kit which is the only one that I ever got to work on my dark hair. You run the risk of having it get a little brassy though. If you're a do it yourselfer, go to a beauty supply store and buy the bleach and developer and mix it yourself. You can go light blonde and get much better results that way. I would suggest you consult a hair stylist who can give you specifics on the specific strength and timing for your color and hair type.

your hair wont turn green...if anything it will turn red. orange. or red orange because brown hair has a strong base of red in it.
I think the best thing for you to do for the first time would be to go to a salon. it may be expensive but if you dont want jacked up hair. its the best thing.
and no matter what you do your hair is going to get damaged...lightners are very harmful to hair especially leaving it on as long as it will take to make your whole head blonde...
so honestly consult a professional. some places consultations are free. and if you want an even blonde color...a salon is the best thing for at least your first time trying to go blonde otherwise its a long complicated process
